How do you scan good quality scrapbook paper?
I recently started digital scrapbooking and I tried scanning my scrapbook paper, but there is a lot of noise and grains in the scanned file. I scan on 300 dpi and 4 x 6 in. The scanner’s glass has no problem since I tried scanning receipts and magazines. Would I have this problem if I bought a scanner designed for scanning scrapbook paper?

When I first switched to digital I tried scanning in my paper too ( because I had SOOO much) but I found that I couldn’t get the quality I liked either. I eventually gave up and just started scanning all the free download websites for paper and embellishments. Here is a good one:

Scanning papers are not going to give you the quality you need for digital scrapbook pages.
There are many sites out there that offer freebies and low prices digital scrapbook supplies.
Here is a good one.

If you are digital scrapbooking you should look into digital scrapbooking storage as well in order to preserve your memories. The site below discusses digital storage for scrapbooking including archival CDs and archival DVDs.
