Q&A: what is the best adhesive to use when putting newspaper articles in a scrapbook?
what is the best adhesive to use when putting newspaper articles in a scrapbook?
I am making a scrapbook for a gift this Christmas and I am putting copies of newspaper articles and copies of photos in it. I want to use the best adhesive so as not to make the articles wrinkled, puffy or soggy looking. I want them to be flat and stay on the scrapbook page permanently. Thank you for the advice in advance!

then look into spray adhesive or a Xyron machine. You can also try a two way tape runner in non permanent- Try Dotto Dots. You can pull up your paper and reposition if needed to smooth out any wrinkles. It is a little expensive, but works very well

Ask an associate at an Arts & Crafts store like Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnn Fabric, or Wal-Mart which is the best glue for you to use. Try it on scraps to make certain that you like the way it looks when it is dry. Make certain that you put the date on the pictures and articles, as well as the newspaper they came from.
Try a stick glue like Prit Stic or Evo Stick.
Or perhaps some Copydex from a pot.
