Product Description
Fiskars unique 12″ rotary countertop trimmer features a razor-sharp rolling blade that cuts accurately and efficiently. Balanced, non-skid, and lightweight base. Easy to read 1/8″ scale and 1/2″ grid on base helps to align cutting material. Interchangeable with all Fiskars decorative blades.

I suppose this paper cutter would be OK for trimming your toe nails but if you plan on doing any accurate paper cutting, especially photo cropping/trimming, save you money and buy a good pair of scissors. The “Product Description” states, “…cuts accurately…” but because of the flimsy construction the way the rotary blade is mounted to the guide bar, it allows the blade to wobble. Don’t expect consistent cuts closer than 1/64 of an inch. I enjoy making wide angle pictorials and when you crop or seam photos together, if your cuts vary that much you end up with a very noticeable gap.
The only good news is that I bought this paper cutter on sale for about half the retail price. SUCH A DEAL!!

Rotary Paper Trimmer – 12″
This paper cutter is not worth the money. It works about as well as the small portable ones. I get frustrated every time I use it because it cuts so crooked. I have tried replacing the blades and this has not helped. Like the other review stated, it is impossible to find a replacement for the bar that goes under the blade. I am an elementary school art teacher and have a guillotine cutter at school which works great. I think I am going to purchase a guillotine cutter for my home crafting.

Rotary Paper Trimmer – 12″
I have used this cutter for several years and have liked it very much. It has consistently produced hundreds of sharp cuts until now…
The rotary blade cuts on a hard plastic strip that has four sides; so it can be rotated as each side wears out. Unfortunately, once you’re worn out all four sides it seems impossible to find a replacement part. I’ve searched the Fiskars web site and the entire web without success. I’ve also looked at Office Depot, Office Max, and Michael’s – all carry the cutter but not replacement cutting strip. If I cannot find a replacement, I’ll have to discard the $50+ cutter because it won’t cut properly any more. Such a waste…
